In what would be his last recording session, Brother Jack McDuff reunites
two musicians who were integral members of his popular early '60s
group--one of the most soulful saxophonists on the planet, Red Holloway and
phenomenal Philadelphia guitarist Pat Martino. A special added bonus is
the inclusion of two never-before-released live gems featuring Brother
Jack's musical sparring match with his voracious protege--who, like
Martino, also hails from the city of Brotherly Love--Philly's own B-3 organ
phenomenon, Joey DeFrancesco.
