Ever since his days as a founding member of the Chick Corea Elektric Band, John Patitucci has been regarded as one of the best bass players in the world, regardless of genre. On Line By Line, the bass virtuoso is featured on both acoustic bass and 6-string electric bass.

His talents have been recognized with GRAMMY AWARD NOMINATIONS for Best Instrumental Composition and Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist. Line By Line features several of his new compositions and arrangements.

In addition to his core trio with ADAM ROGERS on guitar and BRIAN BLADE on drums, Line By Line also features GUEST SAXOPHONIST CHRIS POTTER and a STRING QUARTET on selected tracks.
