Full Circle
Howard Alden & Jimmy Bruno
Issued in 1973, the first Concord Jazz LP, Jazz/Concord (a CD of which is included herein as a special bonus disc) was recorded the year before in L.A. by guitarists Herb Ellis and Joe Pass-it was the first recording produced by Carl Jefferson, president of the then "Concord Summer Festival," predecessor of the Concord Jazz Festival. This new release, Full Circle, featuring seven-string guitarists Jimmy Bruno and Howard Alden, significantly marks both the 25th anniversary of Concord Records and the final recording produced by Jefferson, who died, at 75, in March of 1995. FEATURING: Howard Alden - guitar Michael Moore - bass Jimmy Bruno - guitar Alan Dawson - drums Herb Ellis - guitar Ray Brown - bass Joe Pass - guitar Jake Hanna - drums
