All of the carols are sung with a combination of precision, purity and passion that characterizes the performances of Quink. The group—Machteld van Woerden and Paula de Wit, sopranos; Corrie Pronk, alto; Harry van Berne, tenor; and Kees-Jan de Koning, bass—hails from Amsterdam and have been successful in Europe and elsewhere performing a widely varied repertoire with technical assurance in matters of color, dynamics and texture, as well as with a sense of humor.
