Making her debut recording in the U.S. for Peak Records, vocalist Cassandra Reed is no stranger to the recording scene. Born in Seville, Spain and raised in Cologne, Germany, under the name Sandy Reed, she was signed to WEA/Germany and had a huge hit single in Japan, "Sweet Love," from the CD Believe. Upon coming to the U.S., she met Grammy-award winning record producer Jason Miles. Believing in her talent as a consummate singer/songwriter, Jason brought Cassandra to the attention of Peak Records. Possessing a smooth, intimate and soulful sound, Cassandra considers her strong musical influences to be Stevie Wonder, Michelle N’degeocello, the sound of Motown and all Middle Eastern music. All of those influences come together in her Peak debut.
