All Kinds Of Weather
Red Garland Trio
Another example of Garland's great head for tunes, and his equally laudable talent for treating them with a uniquely personal style. The trio, with Garland's old Miles Davis-mate, Paul Chambers, setting new bass standards with his plucking and bowing, and drummer Arthur Taylor applying his hip brushwork to the "fours" with Red, is a delight on songs pertaining to the weather that are viable no matter what the season.
