The Temperance Movement

Headshot of The Temperance Movement

America is about to experience The Temperance Movement and it’s gonna leave a scar. Driven by the gritty vocals of Phil Campbell, the classic virtuosity of guitarists Paul Sayer and Luke Potashnick and a thundering powerhouse of a rhythm section delivered by Nick Fyffe on bass and Damon Wilson on drums, The Temperance Movement’s authentic blast of Faces meets Stones meets AC/DC blues n’ rock & roll will thrill devotees of timeless, British invasion song craft and sharp, masterful musicianship.

The UK band has toured non-stop since 2012, winning fans across the continent including Jimmy Page and Mick Jagger, who personally invited them to open for The Stones. The Temperance Movement will play their first ever American shows when they hit the road in 2015 (with Blackberry Smoke) from February 18th through May 9th. Get ticket and show information here: http://thetemperancemovement.com/live/.

Their self-titled debut album will be released via Fantasy/Concord in the U.S. on February 3rd, 2015.  To give U.S. audiences an early taste of their deeply-rooted songs and combustible live performances, the band is offering three tracks for free download, “Take It Back,” “Only Friend” and “Lovers and Fighters,” all recorded live in Europe.
