ALEJANDRO ESCOVEDO AND THE SENSITIVE BOYS READY TO TAKE SXSW ONCE AGAIN

Over the years Alejandro Escovedo's performances at Austin's annual international music confab SXSW have become can't miss affairs. The long time Austin resident is gearing up for what promises to be a series of unforgettable appearances at this year's festival beginning Thursday March 18th. The centerpiece of his busy week will the resurrection of the 11 piece Alejandro Escovedo Orchestra on Friday, March 19th featuring his regular band, The Sensitive Boys, along with a 4 piece horn section, keyboardist and 3 vocalists - all rockin' the SXSan Jose stage on South Congress. Alejandro will perform 20 songs including new material from his forth coming album on Fantasy Records due in early summer, as well as some of his older favorites.

Thursday, March 18 - Gibson Showcase, Maggie Mae's, 323 East 6th Street. Performance 4:45 - 5:30 pm
Friday, March 19 - Alejandro Escovedo Orchestra, SXSanJose, Jo's Coffee, 1300 South Congress. Performance 8:00 pm
Saturday, March 20 - Alejandro's Annual Showcase, Maria's Taco Xpress, 2529 South Lamar Boulevard. -- *Start time TBA, but will run all afternoon and into the evening. Alejandro is the last artist of the evening.
Sunday, March 21 - Alejandro Escovedo and Friends, Continental Club, 1315 S. Congress. Alejandro goes on at 12:30 am
